Robin started gymnastics when she was 2 ½ and participated for 12 years, competing at the optional level. At age 15 she began judging gymnastics meets and helping instruct gymnastics classes. When asked why she coaches gymnastics, Robin stated “I’ve been involved in gymnastics for almost 26 years. I love the sport and I love my students. This is what I do for fun and I can’t imagine my life without it.” Robin cites her biggest priority in the classes she teaches “is definitely safety. Everything else comes second.” Robin attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with two bachelor’s degrees – one in Psychology and another in Health Sciences – and earned a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. She works full-time as a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist, where she specializes in the rehabilitation of individuals of all ages with a wide variety of physical and mental health ailments. Katie is a freshmen at MACC where she is studying animal science with plans to transfer to the University of Missouri to major in Veterinary Medicine.  Katie mentioned that her favorite part about coaching gymnastics is getting to see the gymnasts learn new skills. Katie states “I always encourage the kids to do their best and let them know that they CAN do it.”

Coach Jenna

Jenna coaches the Preschool, Beginner, Advanced classes and helps with the Level 2 and Level 3 Team. She was a gymnast for 6 years and competed at the optional level. She is now a freshman at MACC where she is a Greyhound Cheerleader. Jenna stated she enjoys teaching gymnastics because “I love seeing the kids get excited when they learn something new.
