Moberly Gymnasts Gracie, Ashley, and Alyssa become AmeriKids National All-Around Champions

6 year-old Level 3 Gracie brings home 5 gold medals from the AmeriKids National Championship meet held in Papillon Nebraska on June 11th and 12th. Gracie placed 1st in her division on vault, bars, beam, floor, and in the All-Around competition. 13 year-old Ashley won the Level 5 All-Around title after placing 1st on beam and floor and 2nd on vault and bars. Alyssa took the Intermediate Optional title after placing 1st in all of the gymnastics events, including a remarkable 9.7 performance on the balance beam with only a step on the landing and one balance check away from a perfect 10. Alyssa’s All-Around score was a high 37.175.

Lyndi brought home the 4 silver medals in her Level 5 division, with a second place finish on bars, beam, floor, and in the All-Around. Level 3 Rylee also had a great meet, placing 4th on vault with a 9.35, 2nd on beam with a 9.45, and 3rd on floor with a 9.1. Rylee earned the 5th place medal in the All-Around. Jessica, also Level 3, brought home a bronze medal with her strong 9.55 beam performance. Taya earned a silver medal in the Novice Optional division with a score of a 9.1 on the beam. Paige, Level 5, became the beam and floor national champion in her division with the scores of 9.075 and 9.1. Charlie had a fantastic meet, earning an All-Around score of 36.9 with a stellar 9.4 on vault, 9.05 on bars, 9.2 on beam, and a 9.25 on the floor. Elizabeth, Level 5, was the bronze medal winner on vault. MeganĀ  earned the gold medal on bars with a 9.45 in Level 5 and Megan was the bronze medal winner on floor with an 8.75. Katie earned 4th place honors on floor with her 9.0 performance in the Novice Optional division. Madelyne also brought home a bronze medal in the Novice Optional Division with her score of a 9.4 on the beam. Jenna was the silver medalist in the Intermediate Optional division, earning 2nd place on all the events and in the All-Around with her final score of 35.925.
